Goldeyes snap losing streak against the Milkmen 6-4
3:52 PM
Najee Gaskins did a little bit of everything for the Winnipeg Goldeyes who snapped a six game losing streak with a 6-4 win over the Milwaukee Milkmen on Sunday afternoon. Gaskins went two for three at the plate with a walk. The left fielder also was busy in the outfield, catching seven fly balls.
Winnipeg native Marc-Andre Habeck started the game for the Goldeyes and provided the home team with 7.1 innings of work. The right-handed hurler gave up four earned runs on eight hits while striking out four.
The Goldeyes managed to avoid a series sweep against Milwaukee with the win and improve to 20-32 on the season. The fish will take on the Cleburne Railroaders(27-26) on Tuesday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Shaw Park for their next contest.
