Connor Hellebuyck made 25 saves as the Winnipeg Jets earned a 3-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres in NHL action on Friday night.

Cole Perfetti extended his personal point streak to eight games by scoring a goal in his fifth consecutive game, while Mason Appleton and Nikolaj Ehlers also scored for the Jets, who got two-assist efforts from Nino Niederreiter and Vladislav Namestnikov.

Former Jets goalie Eric Comrie finished with 15 saves for the Sabres.
