EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Anthony Roberts scored 19 points as Purdue Fort Wayne beat Southern Indiana 70-57 on Wednesday night.
Roberts also added seven rebounds and four steals for the Mastodons (9-1). Jalen Jackson was 3 of 10 shooting, including 1 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 8 for 13 from the line to add 15 points. Rasheed Bello was 3 of 13 shooting and went 6 for 6 from the line to finish with 12 points.
The Screaming Eagles (2-8) were led by Jeremiah Hernandez, who posted 14 points and four assists. AJ Smith added 12 points and 15 rebounds for Southern Indiana. Kiyron Powell also had 10 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks.
