Mounties continue search for answers in man’s death

RCMP are continuing to ask for tips related to the 2019 death of a Sandy Bay man.
Cody Mousseau, 32, was found dead in a ravine in the RM of Rosedale on Dec. 24, 2019 after being reported missing on Dec. 8, 2019. He was last seen between Nov. 17 – Dec. 1, 2019.
The death was investigated as a homicide.
“On the fourth anniversary of finding Cody deceased, we are again reaching out to the public to ask for any information related to Cody’s disappearance and death. Any little piece of information could help us immensely,” said Cpl. Gilbert Saillant, RCMP Major Crime Services.

Man charged with manslaughter in First Nations slaying

A 42-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in the death of a man in Pimicikamak Cree Nation.
Mounties arrested Christopher Scott on Saturday after investigating the suspicious death of a man found dead in the First Nations community Friday morning.
Police responded to a home in the community after receiving reports a man was injured inside, the RCMP said in a news release Saturday.
Officers arrived to find a 47-year-old from the community dead.
The community is located roughly 520 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
