STEPHENVILLE, Texas (AP) — Dominique Ford scored 23 points as Southern Utah beat Tarleton State 73-70 on Thursday night.
Ford added three steals for the Thunderbirds (7-12, 2-6 Western Athletic Conference). Jamari Sibley scored 21 points while going 8 of 12 from the floor, including 3 for 3 from 3-point range, and 2 for 3 from the foul line. Brock Felder finished 4 of 5 from the floor to finish with eight points.
Devon Barnes led the Texans (12-7, 5-3) in scoring, finishing with 22 points. Tarleton State also got 19 points, eight rebounds and two steals from Kiandre Gaddy. In addition, Jakorie Smith finished with 15 points.
