Roughly 8 to 15 cm of snow fell on parts of Winnipeg on Wednesday and Thursday.
Environment Canada said a range of snowfall was reported across the city, with about 8 cm at the airport and nearly 15.5 in St. James, not including a small amount of additional snow that fell later Thursday.
Meteorologist Samantha Mauti said there was a chance of intermittent snow overnight.
All highways closed because of poor driving conditions had reopened by Thursday morning. The last route to reopen was Highway 10 in Riding Mountain National Park, the province said.
Snow and blowing snow led to multiple highways being shut down Wednesday and Thursday.
