Man arrested after indecent act at daycare

A 44-year-old man accused of exposing himself to children and staff at a Selkirk daycare has been charged with committing an indecent act.

RCMP said officers responded to the Morris Avenue daycare at about 11:30 a.m. after receiving the report and a description from an employee. They made patrols but did not locate the suspect.

They received a second report a couple of hours later indicating the man had returned to the area. Officers made the arrest without incident, RCMP said in a statement.

The man was released with conditions and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
