Police seized stolen off-road vehicles, golf carts and six guns from two Keeseekoowenin First Nation properties.

RCMP were told on Sept. 10 that a 2024 Polaris utility terrain vehicle stolen from a cottage at Sandy Lake might be at one of the Keeseekoowenin homes. Officers obtained a search warrant and seized the stolen UTV and trailer.

Officers then went to another home, where they saw stolen property outside.

Police searched the property and found four golf carts, two snowmobiles, two off-road vehicles, a trailer and six firearms.

A 25-year-old Keeseekoowenin man was arrested at the second scene.

The community is roughly 105 kilometres northwest of Brandon.
