STONEWALL, MAN. – RCMP northwest of Winnipeg are investigating a suspicious death.
They say officers were called Thursday morning to a report of human remains in a home in the Regional Municipality of Rockwood.
Mounties have secured an area near an address off of Highway 7.
They say the death is believed to have occurred within the last month.
The cause of death remains under investigation, with the results of the autopsy pending.
In a news release, RCMP did not provide an age or gender of the person who was found dead.
