Canada’s 3-2 overtime win over the United States in the 4 Nations Face-Off final Thursday brought smiles to the faces of most Proline bettors.
According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp., 79 per cent of Proline players backed Canada to win the contest while 29 per cent took the under at 5.5.
Connor McDavid’s overtime goal secured the victory for Canada.
Twenty-nine per cent of bettors predicted the game would go into the extra session by taking the draw after regulation time.
In terms of the settlement of the tournament futures, 63 per cent of players backed Canada to win the tournament while 21 per cent had MacKinnon as the top goal scorer in the tournament.
Thirty-five per cent also had MacKinnon as Canada’s leading goalscorer.
