No students were injured after a school bus and a police vehicle collided at a St. Boniface intersection Friday afternoon.

The Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine school bus was carrying about 20 students when the crash happened at just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of St. Jean Baptiste Street and Provencher Boulevard. Ambulances along with a passing nurse were on scene afterward and no one on board the school bus was hurt, superintendent Alain Laberge said.

“All the students are home and safe,” he said Friday evening.

He said parents have been notified about the collision.
