Man faces gun, drug charges after Powerview-Pine Falls arrest

A man who was allegedly carrying a sawed-off gun at a business in Powerview-Pine Falls is facing more than a dozen charges.
RCMP were sent to the business on Walleye Lane at 9 p.m. on May 9.
Officers found a man with the loaded gun tucked into the waistband of his pants.
Police said in a news release Thursday that officers found more than 616.3 grams of cocaine on a 24-year-old Winnipeg man. He is charged with 16 offences, including possession of a gun contrary to a prohibition order and assaulting a peace officer with a weapon.
