Winnipeg police are searching for a teepee stolen from the lawn of an elementary school in East Kildonan.
Angus McKay School at 850 Woodvale St. reported the teepee stolen Monday, a Winnipeg Police Service spokesperson said Thursday.
The teepee was part of a planned two-week installation for National Indigenous History Month and to offer land-based learning, principal Jean-Paul Rochon said in a statement.
