The Winnipeg Blue Bombers enter halftime leading the B.C. Lions 18-10 at Princess Auto Stadium.

Rookie running back Matthew Peterson, who has 10 carries for 77 yards, broke off a sensational 38-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Punter Jamieson Sheahan also coffin-cornered a punt perfectly to score a single.

The Lions’ lone response came just before the break, as quarterback Nathan Rourke plunged into the end zone from two yards out.

The Bombers have declared running back Brady Oliveria out for the remainder of the contest.
