The Manitoba government has launched its affordable home energy program, which helps cover the cost of ground-source heat pumps for eligible homeowners.
“Manitobans who heat their homes with electricity could lower their energy bills by up to 30 per cent, approximately $1,000, in the first year,” the province said of the program, delivered through Efficiency Manitoba, in a news release Tuesday.
