Stony Mountain prison staff seize unauthorized items

Corrections officials say guards seized unauthorized items with a prison value of more than $400,000 at Stony Mountain Institution last week.

The items seized Thursday included cannabis concentrate, tobacco, nicotine patches, a cellphone and a charger, Correctional Service of Canada said in a news release Monday.

The RCMP have been notified.
