Police say a 69-year-old woman is dead and six others are injured after a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Vaughan, Ont.
York Regional Police say the crash happened at around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 27 and Rutherford Road.
One of the vehicles was on fire when emergency crews arrived, but all occupants had made it out, police say.
Police say the six injured passengers were transported to local hospitals.
Police say the intersection will stay closed for “several hours” as they continue their investigation.
