Advance voting begins in Spruce Woods byelection

Advance voting for the Spruce Woods provincial byelection is underway in Brandon and Glenboro.

Voting at the local election office in the Corral Centre in Brandon and at the Raystone Memorial Centre in Glenboro began at 8 a.m. Saturday. The sites are open until 8 p.m.

Advance voting continues in Brandon until Aug. 25, and in Glenboro till Aug. 23.

Advance voting in Souris starts Tuesday and ends Wednesday. Advance voting in six other communities — Holland, Kemnay, Oak Lake, Rivers, Shilo and Wawanesa — is happening Tuesday only.
