The man who gave the Burton Cummings Theatre its name will play the downtown venue on Nov. 13.

Winnipeg-born singer-songwriter Burton Cummings will perform songs from his extensive catalogue, both from his years with the Guess Who and from his solo career.

As part of the naming of the facility, in 2017, Cummings — the co-writer of such hits as These Eyes and No Time — agreed to play a minimum of four concerts there in the following 15 years. Proceeds from the show will go toward the rejuvenation of the 118-year-old building.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.ca; prices have not yet been announced.
