EDMONTON – Police in Edmonton say an e-scooter driver has died in hospital after being hit by two cars in an intersection.
They say the 49-year-old man was riding the scooter around 9:30 p.m. two weeks ago in the city’s north end when the collision happened.
They say the man was hit by one car going in the same direction, was dislodged from the scooter, then hit a second time by a car going the opposite direction.

The man died in hospital Monday.
Police say they are continuing the investigation and are looking for witnesses or dash cam footage from the scene.
