Man killed in UTV rollover on Highway 83

A Roblin man was killed when a utility-terrain vehicle rolled over in a ditch Saturday.
Russell RCMP were sent to the area of Highway 83 and Road 135 North in the Rural Municipality of Riding Mountain West at 4:30 p.m. The 25-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mounties determined the driver was headed north in the west ditch alongside the highway when he lost control.
“Speed is believed to be a factor in the incident. The driver was not wearing a helmet or using a seatbelt,” Manitoba RCMP said in a news release Monday.
