Shots fired in Crane River

A man has been charged after someone fired a shotgun at a home and shot another round in the direction of a resident.
A safety officer in O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation, also known as Crane River, contacted Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police, using a drone, spotted a man lying in a field behind the home. Officers arrested the man after finding him hiding under stairs behind the home. A police dog found a gun in the field.
A 24-year-old man is facing four firearms charges and one count of mischief under $5,000.
