Pedestrian, 67, dies after being hit Friday

A woman has died after she was hit by a vehicle on Osborne Street on Friday.
She is the ninth pedestrian killed on Winnipeg streets this year and the 16th person killed in a vehicle collision.
As previously reported, the pedestrian was struck at the intersection with Roslyn Road at about 1:20 p.m.
She was taken to hospital in stable condition and later died from her injuries, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release Monday.
Police said the woman, 67, was crossing Osborne when she was hit by a 2014 Ford Fusion travelling west on Roslyn.
The 32-year-old man driving the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash. Police are investigating.
