Police said Wednesday “there was no threat” to a child who reported being offered candy and a ride by two masked men Tuesday.
The Winnipeg Police Service previously said the student was walking to school on the 600 block of Beverley Street at about 1 p.m. when men wearing black clothing reportedly got out of what was described as a white van.
The child ran to the school and told a staff member, police said Tuesday.
