The most decorated offensive lineman in CFL history is returning to Winnipeg.
The Blue Bombers announced early Monday that they have re-signed left tackle Stanley Bryant to a one-year contract extension. The 39-year-old was scheduled to hit free agency in February.
The four-time CFL Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman is entering Year 11 with the Bombers and has suited up for 234 regular-season games during his three-down career, including 200 with the Blue and Gold, which ranks sixth in franchise history.
Now with Bryant locked up, that leaves receivers Dalton Schoen and Keric Wheatfall, defensive back Demerio Houston, and linebacker Kyrie Wilson as the club’s biggest pending free agents left.
