City launches new online portal for information on municipal services

The City of Winnipeg has launched a new online portal for city services.
The new MyAccount portal allows residents to add their home address to their profile, then find information relevant to their location.
The available information includes recycling and garbage collection days and notices about seasonal operations in their area, such as snow clearing, parking bans and insect control.
Users will also be able to submit, view and track service requests on the portal. The city says residents who have MyUtility accounts can link that account to the new portal.
City officials say the new portal will soon integrate more city services into the MyAccount portal to create a central hub.
