DOVER, Del. (AP) — Kelechi Okworogwo’s 15 points helped North Carolina Central defeat Delaware State 74-60 on Saturday.

Okworogwo also contributed 10 rebounds and three blocks for the Eagles (11-16, 7-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Kyric Davis added 15 points while finishing 6 of 12 from the floor while they also had five rebounds and three steals. Dionte Johnson went 6 of 11 from the field to finish with 14 points, while adding three steals.

Rahmir Moore led the way for the Hornets (6-21, 1-11) with 20 points. Delaware State also got 14 points and five assists from Ponce James. Dean Shepherd finished with six points. The loss is the sixth in a row for the Hornets.
