BALTIMORE (AP) — Alfred Worrell Jr.’s 20 points helped Morgan State defeat Coppin State 70-66 on Thursday.

Worrell had five rebounds and two steals for the Bears (14-15, 10-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Eugene Alvin scored 14 points and added six rebounds and five blocks. Walter Peggs Jr. had 13 points and five rebounds off the bench

Demariontay Hall finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for the Eagles (7-24, 5-9). Torrin Andrews also added 14 points for Coppin State. Hassan Perkins finished with 13 points.

There were 16 lead changes, and neither team led by more than six points at any point in the game.
