No injuries reported in Friday night fires: WFPS

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was called to the West Kildonan neighbourhood around 10:35 p.m. Friday for reports of a fire, a weekend news release says.

Smoke was coming from the house on Meredith Bay when firefighters arrived. The fire was declared under control at 11:11 p.m.

Crews also responded to a fire in a 10-storey building on the 200 block of Princess Street just before 9 p.m. The fire was found in a suite and extinguished by 9:15 p.m.

Both fires are under investigation.
