CALGARY – Big Rock Brewery Inc. reported a loss of $1.1 million in its latest quarter compared with a loss of $9.7 million a year earlier.
The brewer says the loss amounted to five cents per diluted share for the quarter ended Dec. 30.
The result compared with a loss of $1.41 per diluted share a year earlier.
Net revenue for the quarter totalled $11.1 million, up from $9 million, boosted by increased volumes and a favourable product mix.
Total sales volumes amounted to 69,563 hectolitres for the quarter, up from 62,587 hl a year earlier.
Big Rock has brewing operations in Alberta, B.C. and Ontario.
