Woman hit by car in Westwood

A 69-year-old woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition after being hit by a car Thursday afternoon.

Just before 5 p.m. Winnipeg police responded to Country Club Road and Portage Avenue for a report of a collision involving a pedestrian. The woman has since been upgraded to stable condition.

The driver remained on scene and was cooperative with officers. The investigation is ongoing.
