RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman they said may have information about the recent theft of a truck, flatbed trailer and forklift near Carman.

The theft was reported on Sunday afternoon and RCMP say it’s believed to have happened earlier that day at around 4 a.m., said a Wednesday RCMP release.

Mounties said it’s believed the suspect, or suspects, had gained access to the truck, a 2019 Ford F-550, that was parked behind an area business on Fourth Avenue SE and then drove it away. The trailer and the forklift were located the next day in La Salle, but the truck is still missing.

Alongside an image of the truck, RCMP have now released a photo of a woman who they say was walking in the parking lot near the truck just before the theft. They said she was wearing a red hoodie, a long black parka, black leggings and a baseball hat, alongside white Adidas shoes with a black strip.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Carman RCMP at 204-745-6760 or Crime Stoppers to report it anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
