CASTLEGAR – Police in British Columbia say three people have been charged in the 2022 homicide of a man in the province’s Interior.

Police say the men were taken into custody in communities spanning from Castlegar to Nelson and Vancouver.

One is charged with second-degree murder and the other two with manslaughter.

The case stems from Aug. 11, 2022, when the victim — 51‑year‑old Jean‑Luc Noel Levesque — was found in Castlegar.

Police say he was not from the Interior community.
