Man dead after ATV flips in RM of Tache

A 46-year-old man is dead following an ATV crash in the RM of Tache on Saturday evening.

Steinbach RCMP say they were called around 7:13 p.m. to a single-vehicle crash on Road 46 East. Emergency crews found the man pinned beneath a flipped ATV.

Investigators believe he lost control while attempting a turn, causing the vehicle to roll over onto him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the man was not wearing a helmet, and alcohol is not considered a factor.

The investigation is ongoing.
