At around 1:15 a.m. Monday

RCMP were called about the fire at a self-storage compound on 2nd Street Northeast around 1 a.m. Monday. The body of a 55-year-old man was found inside, RCMP said.

The death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy.

On Wednesday, RCMP said they had arrested two people, a 44-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman.

On Thursday, RCMP said Gordon Blaine McTaggart, of Killarney, was charged with second-degree murder and the woman was released without being charged.
