Two dead, one injured after crash in Arborg Friday

A single-vehicle crash in Arborg Friday left the driver with life-threatening injuries and killed two passengers.

Gimli RCMP were called to the scene on Highway 68, near Road 14 east, just past 3:30 p.m., where the damaged vehicle was found in a field on the south side of the nearby intersection.

The driver, a 34-year-old woman from Arborg, was trapped inside the vehicle. She was sent to hospital with severe injuries.

The two passengers, a 38-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, both from Arborg, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Manitoba RCMP are investigating.
