EDMONTON – AutoCanada Inc. says it has bought the Mascarin Collision Centre repair business in Thunder Bay, Ont.
Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available.
Mascarin Collision Centre was started in 1961 and holds certifications across more than 10 brands, including Volkswagen, Honda, Toyota, Ford and Subaru.
AutoCanada says Mascarin Collision Centre is the only General Motors-certified collision repair facility in northwestern Ontario.
AutoCanada operates 64 franchised auto dealerships in Canada, comprised of 23 brands across eight provinces as well as three independent used auto dealerships. It also has more than 30 collision centres.
The company is in the process of selling its U.S. dealership portfolio, which operates under the Leader Automotive Group name.
