Dog park officially opens in south Winnipeg

The Bridgwater Trails Dog Park is open, a Saturday news release from the city states.

The off-leash park is located within Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park at 360 Appleford Gate in the Bridgwater Trails neighbourhood.

The  area — which spans one hectare — is fully fenced and has dedicated spaces for large and small dogs.

The project was funded through the mayor’s civic initiatives under the promotional and protocol fund and the communities fund for Waverly West.
