Police in Hamilton say the are investigating after a 21-year-old man with stab wounds died early Sunday morning.
They say officers were called to the area of Main Street West and Frid Street at 2:30 a.m. after a taxi driver found a man with stab wounds.
Police say the victim was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say they believe the victim was involved in an altercation near King Street West and Paradise Road North Saturday evening.
They say they are investigating the death of the man as a homicide.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
