TORONTO – Jorian Baucom had the game’s lone goal to lead Calgary Wild FC to a 1-0 win over AFC Toronto in Northern Super League play Sunday.
Baucom opened the scoring just five minutes into the contest for Calgary (5-13-6, 21 points), which remains sixth in the league standings. But the win was its first ever against AFC Toronto.
AFC Toronto (10-6-8, 38 points) is still second overall behind Montreal Roses FC (11-4-9, 42 points) and had already clinched a playoff spot.
AFC Toronto had 28 total shots in the contest with seven being on target but couldn’t put any past Calgary goalkeeper Sarah Keilty-Dilling. The visitors registered eight total shots with four on target.
