WINNIPEG – Motorists beware: the residential overnight parking ban starts tonight.
The plowing of residential streets began at 7 a.m. today, and the city is reminding drivers about the ban from midnight tonight to 6 a.m. until snow plowing is completed.
Vehicles parked on residential streets scheduled for overnight plowing during the prohibited times are subject to being ticketed.
Plowing of residential streets is expected to take three to four days.
The public can access snow clearing schedule information for night shift plowing activities on residential streets today and daily after 2:00 p.m. on www.winnipeg.ca until plowing of residential streets is complete. Residents without Internet access can get the information by calling 311 after 2 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when driving near any plowing or sanding equipment.
