Hey there, time traveller!

Fresh on the heels of the Power 97 revert last week, Corus Radio has announced 680 CJOB is rolling out a new programming lineup that features some familiar names.
Longtime local personality Shadoe Davis will make the move to the news radio station to anchor the Shadoe Davis Show from 6-10 a.m., and will be joined by Kelly Moore and Jeff Braun, who will cover sports and news respectively.
Davis moves over from FM sister station Big/Power 97, where he had hosted the Shadoe Davis Show since last November.
Morning news anchor Richard Cloutier will also see a timeslot change, as he moves into the weekday afternoon drive-home slot, hosting The News on CJOB from 4-7 p.m.
“With the revitalization of its schedule, 680 CJOB is entering a new era,” says Kenton Boston, VP News and Information, Corus Radio, Western Canada in a news release. “We value our deep roots in the city and believe our exciting new lineup, lead by Shadoe in the morning, will reflect the issues and the people of Winnipeg for years to come.”
CJOB for years was Winnipeg’s most listened to radio station according to Numeris, a Canadian audience measuring organization that until recently was known as the Bureau of Broadcast Measurement. CBC Radio One took over top spot in the radio ratings battle in the spring of 2015.
Other changes at CJOB include the expansion of Dahlia Kurtz’s afternoon show, which will see the addition of a co-host, Brett Megarry. Brett and Dahlia will air from 1-4 p.m. weekdays and will “celebrate Winnipeggers who make a difference in the community,” says the release.
Geoff Currier will remain in the same timeslot, weekdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The new lineup will begin Monday, Sept. 12.
