The Winnipeg Art Gallery won’t be serving poison apples or bowls of porridge that are too hot or too cold, but it is offering a dinner inspired by its big summer exhibition, Fairy Tales, Monsters and the Genetic Imagination.

The Art Eats event will be held on July 19 and Aug. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The ticket includes a three-course dinner at the gallery’s Storm Bistro, with outdoor dining on the rooftop, weather permitting. Then there’s a guided tour of the Fairy Tales show.

Art Eats has sold out every time it has been offered, so act fast to make reservations.

Tickets are $35 (WAG members $30) at 789-0516 or awiebe@wag.ca. The fixed menu will be posted ahead of time at wag.ca.
