Early-bird alert:Folk Festival ticketsnow available
This week the Winnipeg Folk Festival announced early-bird tickets for the 47th edition of the folk fest are now on sale. The 2020 festival runs July 9-12 at Birds Hill Provincial Park; the artist lineup does not typically get announced until early March. Folk fest did, however, reveal the new logo for this year. The design, created by Brian Steely, features the Festival Tower, which was erected on the festival site in 2012 as both an art piece and a meeting place. Folk fest tickets are available online at frontgatetickets.com and at the Winnipeg Folk Festival office (203-211 Bannatyne Ave.), which is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Full festival passes for adults cost $219, or $299 with camping, and the early-bird pricing is in effect until the end of April.
