Hey there, time traveller!

Tara Spencer-Nairn, the actress who played Constable Karen Pelly for six seasons on the series Corner Gas, will appear at the Cineplex St. Vital cinemas from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight to promote Corner Gas: The Movie.
Spencer-Niarn was pregnant during the filming, but that didn’t stop her from putting Karen back in action in the feature, in which bankruptcy is declared in Dog River and she is the only cop left standing in the town after her partner Davis (Lorne Cardinal) is forced to retire.
Spencer-Nairn has worked in Winnipeg before, starring in the 2002 direct-to-video horror film Wishmaster 4: The Prophecy Fulfilled.

Corner Gas: The Movie plays at St. Vital, Polo Park and Towne cinemas until Sunday and will be broadcast on the Movie Network, CTV and The Comedy Network later in the month.
