The Eagles will be landing at the Stadium this summer.
The reunited California country-rockers — Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit — will play Canad Inns Stadium on June 22 with the Dixie Chicks as part of a newly announced eight-show stadium tour stretching from Winnipeg to New Jersey.
Australian country star Keith Urban is on the American dates, but not part of the Winnipeg or Toronto shows.

Tickets for the Winnipeg show go on sale Monday, March 29, but prices weren’t immediately released. When the Eagles played the
MTS Centre on March 13, 2009 tickets ranged from $96 to $239.
The Grammy-winning band was a fixture on the charts in the 1970s with five No. 1 singles, 14 top 40 hits and four No. 1 albums. Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) is one of the 10 best-selling records of all time, with sales of more than 40 million.
The Eagles split up in 1980 but reunited in 1994 for a lucrative comeback tour. They released a new album, Long Road Out of Eden, in 2007.
The upcoming tour will be the first for the Dixie Chicks in four years. According to the band’s official website, the group – Martie Maguire, Emily Robison and Natalie Maines — will perform material from all four of their albums.
The country trio, who have won 13 Grammys over the years, released their last album, Taking the Long Way, in 2006.
