British singer-songwriter Billy Bragg, well known for his left-wing views and political activism, is coming to Winnipeg in April, the Winnipeg Folk Festival announced.
The veteran alternative musician and his five-piece band will play the Garrick Centre on Wednesday, April 10, with special guest Kim Churchill. Tickets are $35 plus fees. For sale dates, go to www.winnipegfolkfestival.ca.
Bragg’s Tooth & Nail Tour will be in support of his new album, to be released this spring. He performed at the 2012 Winnipeg Folk Festival.
