Joe Rogan interviews Macaulay Culkin

wfp.to/joerogan

There is little debate that Joe Rogan is leading the way in the current surge of long-form video and interview podcasts that have been on an upward trajectory for the past few years. In the past months on The Joe Rogan Experience, he has featured everyone from former Black Flag frontman-turned-speaker Henry Rollins and comedian/writer/actor Candice Thompson (who also has her own podcast, The Struggle) to controversial University of Toronto professor and YouTube phenomenon Jordan Peterson.

Macaulay Culkin — known to one generation as the kid from Home Alone and to another as the New York club kid who kills his best friend in Party Monster — isn’t your typical child star. His two-hour-plus discussion with Rogan covers a wide range of topics, from his early life in the movies to his new podcast and company Bunny Ears, which he calls a cross between a lifestyle website and the Onion, to the nuances of today’s pop culture and the ways it’s driven by social media.

Who’s the greatest video-game NFL player of all time?

wfp.to/nflvideogames

Anyone who has played video games over the past 25 years will likely have put some serious time into sports games. From pick-up-and-play titles to more complex games requiring more skill, sports titles were ubiquitous on all platforms. While Madden may currently dominate all the consoles it may not have the shining stars you saw in the past.

Whether it’s Bo Jackson breaking tackles or running over other teams while wearing Raiders black in Super Tecmo Bowl, the nearly unstoppable quarterback Michael Vick in Madden 2004 or former Minnesota Vikings receiver Randy Moss, revisiting some of these titles and players may be a bit nostalgic, but shows just how playable and long-running some of these classic games are. While there’s no denying how influential and technologically advanced Madden has become, sometimes you just want to toss a lateral to Jackson and let him work his magic. To this day, few players can match Jackson on the digital field.
