Guess who might be going on tour together in 2020?
Multiple posts on Burton Cummings’ official Facebook page Sunday point to a possible reunion tour this year featuring Cummings and his Guess Who bandmate Randy Bachman.
“Watch for these guys comin’ to your area in 2020…” Cummings, 72, wrote above a photo of himself and Bachman playing a live show together.
“2020…B & C…,” he said above another similar photo.
This isn’t the first time the local music legend — who now resides in Moose Jaw, Sask. — has posted on social media about a potential tour with Bachman. On Dec. 17, he wrote it was “looking more and more likely now that this will occur in 2020,” and that he was “already mentally formulating a set list in my head, and it surely does look impressive.”
No official information regarding dates or tour stops has been released, though Cummings and Bachman are listed together as a headlining act at the Titans of Rock festival in Grand Forks, B.C., in August.
Cummings and Bachman jammed together in Toronto in July to raise money for Canada’s Walk of Fame, but they haven’t toured together since 2009.
Kevin Donnelly, senior vice-president, venues and entertainment for True North Sports and Entertainment would not comment on when or if a Winnipeg show will occur this year.
