Olivia was found by the City of Winnipeg’s Animal Services Agency as a stray without any identification. After waiting for possible owners to show up without any luck, she was placed in the adoption program.

Olivia has been waiting for her forever family for over a month. We’re hoping that she can find a home soon, so that she doesn’t have to spend any more of her puppy months in the shelter.

Olivia is a very bright, happy pup. She doesn’t seem to have had any training, so she will need to learn manners and basic commands. She has already learned how to “sit.” She is a very busy girl, and would benefit from having an active family that can match her energy. She has a lot of it!

Olivia seems to get along well with other dogs. She does best with other rough-and-tumble dogs or dogs with equally high energy. If Olivia is expected to live with another dog in her new home, a meet-and-greet can be arranged to ensure a good match.

Those interested in meeting Olivia can call 311 or email animalservicesagency@winnipeg.ca to set up an appointment at the Winnipeg Animal Services Agency at 1057 Logan Ave.

Adoption fees come with a one year licence, a veterinarian check-up, core vaccinations, tattoo, microchip implant, six weeks of free pet insurance, a small bag of dog food, deworming for young pups and literature on responsible pet ownership.
